Terms of service
Effective 27 October 2026 · Sprintbox · Kodana LTD
1. Your agreement with us
Sprintbox is operated by KODANA LTD, registered in England and Wales, company 16633837 (“we”, “us”). Contact us at info@sprintbox.sh.
These terms govern use of Sprintbox's website, dashboard, and managed GitHub Actions runner service. By creating an account or ordering the service after being presented with these terms, you agree to them. If you act for an organisation, you must have authority to bind it. A separately signed agreement takes precedence where it expressly changes these terms.
2. Accounts and access
Provide accurate account and billing information and protect your credentials, API tokens, and workspace access. You are responsible for users you authorise and jobs run through your workspace. Tell us promptly about suspected unauthorised access. You must have legal capacity to enter this agreement and the necessary authority to connect repositories and run their workflows.
GitHub or Google sign-in, when available, is an optional authentication method. Installing the GitHub App and granting repository permissions are separate actions. You can manage provider connections and permissions through your account and the relevant provider's settings.
3. The runner service
Sprintbox provisions runner capacity for compatible GitHub Actions jobs according to the labels, configurations, and capacity available to your workspace. The documentation describes supported runner labels and operating limits. Availability depends on capacity, third-party services, and maintenance; no uptime or completion-time guarantee applies unless separately agreed in writing.
Keep copies of your source, artifacts, and other important data outside the runner. Runner environments are temporary and are not a backup or permanent storage service. You are responsible for workflow configuration, dependency choices, secrets supplied to jobs, and checking build outputs before use.
4. Usage, prices, and payment
You agree to pay charges for service usage at the rates shown for your workspace or otherwise agreed with us. Runner usage is measured and rounded as explained in the billing guide. A job that starts and later fails or is cancelled can still incur usage charges. Queue time before a runner is ready is not billed as runner time.
Prices and invoices identify the applicable currency. Taxes are charged where applicable. GitHub and other third-party charges are separate. Provide a valid payment method where required. Saving a card does not itself purchase runner minutes; payments are collected through the payment arrangements disclosed when you set up billing or pay an invoice.
Contact info@sprintbox.sh promptly if you believe a charge is incorrect. We will investigate and correct verified billing errors. No provision here limits any refund or cancellation right required by law. Price changes apply prospectively, with notice before they take effect; they do not change charges for usage already incurred.
5. Acceptable use
Use Sprintbox lawfully and only with content and systems you are authorised to access. Do not use it to distribute malware, attack systems, conduct unauthorised scanning, mine cryptocurrency without our written permission, steal credentials, infringe others' rights, or bypass access controls, service limits, or billing. Do not expose other people's personal data or secrets without the necessary authority.
You must comply with the applicable terms of GitHub and other services your workflows use. We may restrict jobs or access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, non-payment, a security risk, or a legal requirement. We will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve it where reasonably possible and lawful.
6. Your content and personal data
You retain ownership of your repositories, workflows, and job content. You grant us permission to host, copy, transmit, and process that content only as necessary to provide, secure, and support the service and comply with law. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions required for that processing.
Our privacy policy explains how we handle account and operational personal data. If your workloads require us to process personal data on your behalf, contact us to arrange the required data processing agreement before submitting it. Do not submit regulated health information or special-category personal data unless we have expressly agreed to support it under suitable contractual and technical arrangements.
7. Third parties and intellectual property
The service uses third-party hosting, runner, authentication, email, and payment providers. Your direct use of those providers is governed by their own terms. Sprintbox is an independent service; use of GitHub Actions does not imply endorsement by GitHub.
We and our licensors retain rights in Sprintbox's service software, branding, and other materials. Open-source components remain subject to their respective licences. These service terms do not remove rights granted under an applicable open-source licence.
8. Ending use
You may stop submitting jobs and close your account. Remove or transfer workspace resources and resolve dependencies before closure; contact us if you need help. Revoking a GitHub installation prevents future access but may not immediately stop work already running. Charges properly incurred before termination remain payable.
We may end the service or your access with reasonable notice, or sooner where reasonably necessary because of serious misuse, a security threat, non-payment, or a legal requirement. Export information you need before closure. Retention and deletion of personal data follow our privacy policy and applicable law.
9. Our responsibilities
We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Software, infrastructure, and third-party services can fail; we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Report problems to us so we can investigate.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. If you are a consumer, your mandatory rights under applicable consumer law remain unaffected.
10. Changes and disputes
We may update these terms to reflect service, legal, or operational changes. We will identify the effective date and give reasonable notice of material changes before they take effect, except where an urgent legal or security change is necessary. Changes do not apply retrospectively to an existing dispute. You can stop using the service if you do not accept a proposed change, subject to charges already incurred.
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. This does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections or access to courts available under the law of their country of residence.
